ABOUT US
At Chalet Byram, we're firm believers in creating a quality stay; from the sumptuous towels we provide, to the local expertise we offer.

'Byram' is our family name, and we would never put our name to something without giving it our upmost care and attention. Our chalet is open and inviting; a perfect balance between cosy and exclusive.
​
We live a stones' throw from Chalet Byram, meaning that we're on hand for advice or when you need something. But we also know our guests enjoy peace and quiet, and if you would prefer not to see or hear us; then you won't!
​
Back 'home', in England, our family has a quality housebuilding company; so, utilising our expertise, we designed and built Chalet Byram and The Mazot ourselves. We know what it takes to create a place where people love to stay, and we like to think that's what we've achieved here in the stunning French Alps; combining the flair of British building with traditional French materials.

"This is an incredible chalet, newly renovated with new amenities and that sparkly clean feel. The location is unbeatable - in a gorgeous valley close to Saint Gervais which is honestly so much more pleasant than Chamonix, but close enough to the big towns and easy to get around. The chalet also includes a hot tub which may be one of the coolest things we’ve ever experienced via AirBnB - an outside large tub with a perfect view of the Mont Blanc peak - the pictures just don’t do it anywhere close to justice. We watched the sunset light up the peaks and the full moon rise over the valley from the tub while sipping an exquisite small-batch champagne picked up from the well priced liquor store across from the cable car aiguille du midi station in chamonix (the owner is thrilled if you ask for advice and will find everything you need with amazing knowledge and kindness). We can’t wait to come back!"
