Skiing in Saint Gervais

The chalet is located a five-minute drive from Le Bettex; St Gervais' main ski lift bubble station. It's also a 10-minute drive from the new six-man chair lift, Chattrix, in St Nicolas De Veroce.

Both lifts provide access to the Evasion Mont Blanc ski domain, which is the third-largest ski area within France, allowing access to over 200 ski lifts and around 400km of skiing.

The pass covers the areas of Saint Nicolas De Veroce, Les Contamines, La Combloux and Megeve. For an additional price you can also purchase the Unlimited Ski pass which enables you access to St Gervais, Les Houches, all of the Chamonix Valley, Courmayeur and Verbier. This pass also gives you some discounts on different attractions in Chamonix.

A 25-minute drive from St. Gervais, is the Aiguille du Midi; a 3842m peak in the Mont Blanc massif of the French Alps. This is the closest you can get to the summit of Mont Blanc without hiking or climbing. Taking this lift allows access to La Vallée Blanche; a 20 km off-piste route with a vertical drop of nearly 3000 m, in a unique alpine environment. The descent of the Vallée Blanche is undoubtedly one of the greatest off-piste runs in the world.

Although it attracts thousands of skiers each year, this high alpine descent requires mountaineering skills. We highly recommend you book a professional mountain guide to benefit from his/her knowledge and advice in this field.
